My Smoked Salmon Platter is always hit on the holidaze. But honestly, The Boy and Husband love it anytime. The cream cheese/horseradish spread gives things a kick, as do red onions and capers. Serve on toast or crackers. It’s always a delight!
Smoked Salmon Platter

20 ounces smoked salmon, thinly sliced
½ medium red onion, minced
½ cup capers, rinsed
Crackers or sliced French baguette, lightly toasted
Cream cheese horseradish spread (ingredients and recipe below)

1 8 ounce package cream cheese at room temperature
½ cup sour cream
Juice from 1 lemon
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives or scallion greens
1Tbsp. horseradish
Pinch of salt
Black pepper
Directions
- For the Cream Cheese Horseradish Spread
- With a mixer or beaters, cream the cream cheese. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix until well combined. Place in a bowl and serve on a platter with the smoked salmon, crackers and/or toast, chopped red onion and capers. Please note: You may make the spread in advance and store for 24 hours before serving.
